22" on maxima slammed?? and Nex coilover SS reivew.

This is a 2000se 5spd on tokico blues and B&G Springs. SSBC break Kit, T3/T4 turbocharged, I believe he is a member on here. He Runs a Rent and Roll, one of the cool things about managing the place is you can style any type of used wheels on your vehicle for 3 months free. (manager Special ) He decided to do 22 inch wheels on the max. What do you think about it. Sry about the bad pics Camera phone.

Review Time!!!

Before NEX SS

After NEX SS

Okay Guys, Recieved the Nex Coilovers. Look great, started to Install them Within 15 minutes of arrival (Hee Hee). Took about 2 1/2 hours hand tools.
Set the front at 1.9 and rear at 1.7. (def had to roll both front and rear fenders.

The quality
The coilovers look great and seem well built. Maxspeed springs

The downs
There is no break brackets so I had to fab up a bracket on to the inside of inner fender ( L hook for carpentry and high grade locks. (looped the L into a teardrop and inserted a rubber inner protector, with silicone to hold it in place)

First impressions driving
Took it easy for about a mile then went to a shopping plaza (speed bump rub test facility) Def rubbed, Pulled out the trusty bat and jack and rolled all four corners.

Once I felt good about the rubbing issues being resolved I headed to the highway, great control, felt very responsive, not bouncy. Took a construction zone like a champ.

off highway use
very bearable, not bone jarring. It feels great in corners, over consecutive bumps you def feel the rigidity of the suspension. (once again not bad)

Overall impression
Not a very agressive suspension, (very practical and easy to adjust)
Still did not resolve my metal to metal sound on the passenger side, but it def did quiet it up a bit.

This suspension is for someone who is for looking for a reasonable drop for a reasonable price. So far i love it!!! (esp the looks I get)

Alignment
No complaints from TK, they said it was very easy to deal with.
Def Advise to get one as they were way cambered out!!!

Thanx for listening guys

(btw Yes I know I posted useless stuff for the first 15 posts, I was just trying to be able to upload images)

Renting wheels and tires. LOL
Sad that people have to keep up with the Jones', even if it means throwing money away.

I drove a caprice on 24s.The tires rubbed the bumper and the inside of what I guess the frame raw on turns. If the steering wheel was turned too much the car would just stop.

I guess ? You can rent most wheels from them. Its like a rim shop but you pay to own. Just save up and pay them in full. Im sure you pay double in the end. If I had a lease I would consider it as you can just return them when you give in the car, other than that I would not do it lol!!

There are a couple shops that do it here in Baltimore, its pretty sad if you ask me. People wanna be so desperate to look good in this city with fresh BIG chrome rims, but horrible suspension

He has a turbo on the car too...idk just doesnt make sense? I think 20's are plenty and even want to downsize because of the bumps that you really cant avoid. I'm thinking 19's most with a turbo set up..that may be just me.

Also i've seen a max here in lake park florida on 24's and had the bigger break set up. i personally just dont like the look...and im a look kinda guy and a little go.

People who rent wheels/tires, furniture, big screen TVs are idiots. Same people who complain about how they just can't seem to get ahead b/c someone is keeping them down.

However, it's could be a cash cow depending on how many idiots there are (a lot), interest rate and payment plan.

The design of the wheels look okay but wayyy too big for a Max.
