Vented Engine cover the Second** Pics **56kStayAway

well first off i should say i did not invent this,.. i believe deckout was the first to do this and he sold his to sooner fan...

many people say that the stock cover holds in heat, so i like many others ran with the cover off the car,.. and well i got sick of looking at a dirty engine with random wires everywhere.. so this is what i did

i dont have any before/after pics but let me tell you it was a 9/10 on a dirty scale...

opinions welcomed

i used a dremel with a cutting wheel and a sanding wheel...

after i drew out each location.. i cut a box leaving the rounded edges out of each box, then i used the sanding wheel and sanded(cut) the rounded portions out....just some more info.. the underside black mesh is homedepot gutter guard,.. it only came in strips and it was a PITA to get to stay,.. i would like to find a full size sheet that i can cut but idk where to get it from.. also if u look close you can see 2 quater sized dots to the left of the oilcap.. yeah thats glue that accidently got on there from trying to attatch the back lol i gotta touch it up sometime..

I like the idea and they both look pretty good. However, does the hood not hold in the heat now? I say cut the hood up next!
