5.5 Gen tails

I bought a set of 5.5 gen tails off ebay, and the plastic clips were broken off of the back housing. Since my car is over a mile away and it's pretty darn cold here, I don't have time to test fit these. Does anyone know if I really need these clips for the taillights to be installed? Pics below, I'm holding the broken clip...Thanks

if its just that one clip you could always get some plastic epoxy and put it back on like new ,..assuming you posses the clips...thats what i would do... not 100% sure if it would work without them but i think it might... idk

Yea, I figured my options were to file a dispute on ebay, or sell them on the org because I don't know if I'm going to even put these on anymore. If they can be installed fine, I'll prob. just sell em here.

^ Yea, I didn't know those clips were necessary, but I want to get some 00-01 SE tails instead. Who knows what will happen...

I've had mine out before and I don't think those clips do anything. They probably just hold the wires. The tail lights are bolted in and not clipped to the car.
