Since no one cares to chime in, i found the solution to the problem, I put the OEM intake back on and NO MORE LEAN CODE yay. Installed a tornado thingamabob and hopefully that will improve some gas millage. Feels a little more responsive. but to see what else i did, check the what did you do to your maxima today thread.

Umm they sell them at Napa and other auto store, most likely you will need the KI-75 Model for the oem intake.
ive watched some vids and reviews of the product and some say 0% improvement, so its hard to say, i got mine free so there is no harm leaving it in there or not.

Its been about a week i see a slight gain in gas milage but not enough to outweigh the $70 price for the tornado, dont forget there is alot of cheap immitations out there.

Next time it would be damn helpful if you (and everyone else) included info about what you just did to the car including any "mods". AND........if you have a car that had no issues before making changes or doing work and now you've got a problem.......odds are pretty good that it's related to that work or mod. That's your starting point to remedy the now existing problem. It ain't rocket science!

if noboby touched the car recently it's your airflow meter.
i would check all hoses first and listen to hissing noises looking for a vacum leak

i had the intake on for almost 2 years, changed filter regularly and i just started getting bank one lean all the time and massive pinging, even with 97 octane fuel, so for the eff of it i put the oem airbox on and it cured everything, not sure why after so long it did that, I had no hose leaks and all connections where tight, oh well, ill leave it oem till summer and get a better brand intake system.

its a vacum leak most likely if airflow meter did not solve it. what i do is hook up scanner and look at air fuel mixture which will be minimum 25 % lean more than it should to set DTC. then i get throttle body vleaner spray and with cold vehicle spray some around intake mainafold gasket or vacum hoses. if that number changes drasticly to rich obviously or if RPM speeds up you got a leak. However you should be able to also hear a hissing noise. i suspect you have a clamp loose or a hose came off. or cracked. remove also your engine cover and have a look. if you can't find it bring it in as lean condition is more dangerous to engine components as opposed to ritch where your cat would go

Cant find any leaks, i tried spraying carb cleaner around the intake and all the vaccum lines when running with no change, It came back on again and now i can smell the heat from the cat in the front near the radiator when iam going up a hill only pulling 2k rpm, the cat seems to be getting super heated. something is definitly wrong, i ran a bottle of that lucas fuel treatment, that stopped the pinging wich i had even with 93 octane fuel,i just cant pin point this.
