Question about 5th gen clutch pedal bracket

I know in the A32's there are two spacer things on the firewall that space the bracket out toward the cabin. Does this exist in A33(B)'s from the factory as well or does the bracket sit flush with the firewall? I will be doing a 6-speed swap and need this bit of info before I move forward. Thanks in advance.

Since you probably have access to these threads (looks like they were deleted), it's possible the answer is in one of these two -
http://forums.maxima.org/all-motor/349835-clutch.html
http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...l-diagram.html

Doubtful though. As you undoubtedly found out, searching doesn't reveal much of anything on the topic, which would lead me to believe there isn't one; however, the existing swaps aren't that well documented.

FWIW one RC and one stock fuel rail spacer (VQ35) worked out to be the perfect size on my A32. Those damn RC spacers are useful for everything.

I would check but I'm not so sure Merlyn would like me tearing out his clutch pedal Not to mention what PITA it is.

Yea nothing has really come up in the searches. Looking in the FSM though, the illustrations that accompany the pedal height adjustment procedure both (A32 and A33) show the bracket being spaced out from the firewall. Worth something?

I guess I could always measure the stroke length between the A32 and A33 MC's and also measure the distance between the bracket and the pedal where the MC's connect to. Thanks for the response!
