Agreed. I was looking her over tonight and it will indeed be sad to see her go. I have poured who knows how many countless hours in to her, I can somewhat empathize, now, with the reason for which parents are sad to see their children leave the nest.

It's been a good run, but for me one of the best things about this is that I know have a wealth of knowledge beneath my belt that will serve me well when modifying the next whip.

UPDATE...SORT OF.

I have run in to some significant setbacks, namely a flooring project on my home that took wayyyyy longer than anticipated and my parents decided they want to sell their home...out of the blue(!!!) and I have been assisting with the staging of the property. The floors are done, but the moulding is not, so once that is finished...the car can take precedence.

On a sad note, I will be selling the car shortly after the overhaul is done. There are some other maintenance items I will be doing before I sell it, putting the car in damn new condition. It has been a good run, but this will be my parting note with modifications. Doc2278 and I are kicking around mass-fab of some LED tails...you've never seen ones like this, sadly while I have the circuitry designed and all the materials, I never got around to etching and soldering them.
