ocasionall starting difficulty.

so my car has 60k on it and its an 01. it normally starts fine but ocassionally it will crank over for a good 4 or 5 seconds before it finally starts. i have a brand new battery. and when its crankinit is cranking very fast. what could it be TPS? Would anyone know where the adjustment for the belt is. i know where the tensioner is right on the front of the motor but i think the other belt is loose and squeeling. thanks for all the help.

off late I've the same problem, the battery and alternator are less than 6 months old.
I do notice this behaviour when the gas level reaches half or below the mark.
Also I've always used 93 octane gas.
No ses or any pending codes either. I'm planning to install grounding kit if weather permits.

Do the "Big Three", you'll be happier you did.
