can it be? if so, where to get it!
Let me start by saying that this car is pissing me offffff!
I"ve had this P0505 for ever, which is the famous IACV.. So i replaced brand new IACV, checkd resistance, cleared the SES, nothing same code, and low idle sometimes stalling...
Now to say i've been reading around the org, and i seen a couple posts which indicate that my ECU is GONE!!!
is that correct? and if so, where can i get one? can i purchase one from a junk yard?
Thanks

what year max you have? I had that code on my 99 for a long time, replaced new part and code still kept coming back, tested each wires and i guess by moving wires around it got a good signal and eventually went away. I didn't have any broken wires just a bag connection at one of the pins. Electrical problems are a pain to diagnose. good luck.
you can purchase a used ECU from a junk yard and swap it out if you have a 95-98 maxima, for 99 max you will have to get the key reprogrammed.
