so i was driving around lastnight with the a/c on (yes, Houston winter sucks) and it was on the auto mode. i noticed that when i accelerated, the fan speed would increase and get louder. When i took my foot off the gas, it would slow down again.

what might cause this?

 

high amp draw, alternator puts out more when you accelerate.mine do it also since its been cold.

 

it can be considered NORMAL...I'm in MD and have been dealing with this since a little after i purchased my car
