Great post/writeup. I recently purchased the PA15-NIS, which appears to be the new version that covers most Nissan/Infiniti, and the installation was a breeze on my 2002 Maxima SE thanks to this thread.

Many thanks!

get a sony tune tray. IT a HU that has a tray that plugs into your ipod and a tray that slides into the HU to keep out of the way. Much cleaner than any other ipod install option

If you must keep your current HU, does it have an AUX input? Next easiest option but then you have to put it somewhere and it never looks good IMO

Do you have a cd-changer in the trunk? If so, you will lose it. This takes the place of the trunk mounted cd-changer.
