Timing advancement on high mileage maxima
I have a 00' maxima pushing 115k miles. Within the last 5k miles i have replaced the air filter with a k&n, changed spark plug's with NGK's, switched to mobile synthetic even thou i have a small main leak, and cleaned most of my sensors and some other little things.
The engine runs like new except for a small amount of idle vibrations.
I was wondering if I was safe to advance the timing on my higher mileage maxima for a more of an aggressive engine. I found a dealership a town away that will do it for 45 bucks instead of the 155 my local dealer wanted.
I dont really plan on doing any mods as this is my DD. I plan on driving this thing to the ground. I want to see 250k+ on my ODO
