Happy New year to the maxima fam. How much does it cost to install a sunroof in a 2003 nissan maxiama at a dealer or some wher else. I live in the Ny area and any help will be appreciated thx.

 

replace or install a complete new one? if you want to cut a whole in your car, not worth it. it reduces structural integrity. get one of these:

lol I dont think i've ever seen a fake sunroof...

but ya if your car wasn't made with a sunroof then it really isn't worth messing with.

it could vary quite a bit. depends on how big you want it, if it goes inside the car or outside, if it's made of metal and not glass.. then there's labor costs, and you have to replace the headliner, add the switches, run the wires, wheww.

but roughly for a good one i would say around $800 at least.

Most car dealers send cars to specialty shops for sunroof installs and other custom work. Check the phone book and then check out the shops with BBB to see if they have any complaints against them.
