Pictures! :)

Here are the best pics I could get. Like I said, for the night shots, I had to mess around with the EV comp on the camera to even get the pictures to work at all cuz the rings are so bright. The pics don't do them justice. They look waaayy better in person.

http://s452.photobucket.com/albums/qq241/jowo9er/

If anyone has any questions about these, just ask

They were just sent to me. I received them less than a week ago... So I don't know if I was sent a slightly older set, but really, the bar doesn't detract from the appearance at all. So I'm not sure. And thanks, I love 'em

uhh well you have to make them.

i'm basically going to copy him when i redo my lights this winter. always had the idea to copy the Audi style headlights but he beat me to it. once i do it i'll add it to my list of headlight mods i can do for people. unless i'm mistaken he just drilled holes into the plastic stuck and LED through and hotglued it in place, which is exactly how i plan on installing them. then just wire em to the DDEs and bamn. pure hotness!

oh and his car is hot too.

edit: i think he used a clear LED strip like these: http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/571...resizedhf8.jpg

i just bought the v2's i will let you know in two days (of free shipping from cali to ny)($189.00 flat) if they are full rings. i hope they are not because you can make the car look soo much more aggressive with the U if you have them placed right.
sorry, i couldnt wait.

How would they fit better if you "placed" them right? Even if you moved the angel eye up so that the bar wasn't in the way, then the angel eyes wouldnt align with outline of the low-beam. I don't mind the U shaped, i just don't want that stupid bar.

If we can hit 20 by Feb 3rd, we'll do it for $155, we'll lower the cost even further.

Alright so the install was a project, but they came out amazing and people break their necks to check it out. you always hear that the rings are the same size, yes they are and the maximas low beam is bigger, true. I mounted the low beam ring inside the low beam as apposed to the outside. the ring fits perfect like that. 3m tape is all it took with awesome instructions on shiftice.com.
I now need to invest in some eye lids, it helps hide the top of the ring. (tape temporarily looked okay for eyelids but doesnt take well to the oven when i had to bake the headlights.)

roggezzy- i ment by putting them a little sideways so the u isnt straight up like this U. lol tilt them inward a bit toward the grill to make it look aggresssve. there also is no bar connecting the u.

i gotta show you guys how awesome it came out. how do i upload photos? deff recomend this project to everyone.

left ring is inside the low beam housing, right ring is normal.
not bad for a cell phone pic.

Black is a nice color and comes off well from 200'. That's a nice ride in that pic.

So whats the list look like? I'm hoping to clear the turns when i ship the headlights out.
155 sounded nice but we couldnt get 20 people together..well we got till the end of the day...
