After seeing the pictures it gives mne a sick feeling. Would wheel locks have helped?? Or does it not even slow them down??

I had 2 sets of wheel locks on my wheels, and 3 regular lugs...I know at some pint some one tried to steal them because i saw some scratches and what not, on one of the lug holes like some one was in a real haste to jam a lug wrench into the holes and loosen up the nuts

What brand of wheel locks? I'm curious because I planned to put 3 sets of locks on but Mcgard customer service recommend that I only use one. There reasoning was that I would get the bolt/socket mixed up and end up stripping the lock nut.

Sorry to hear about all this, hi-tek. I just don't understand how a person can sleep at night knowing they robbed someone of the things they not only worked hard to acquire but also, clearly, took pride in. Any decent person would get a J-O-B if they see something they like. Some people just don't think that way, I guess.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed you get your stuff back, man....plenty of theft victims do luck out in that regard.

That's a great strategy since they already know where you live.

Don't make threats unless you plan to follow through on 'em.

That sucks, similar thing happened to a buddy of mine who got his Type R rims jacked off his civic last year (I know it's a civic but still, it was nice!). Next buddy found them on kijiji or craigslist one of those a week later, he was selling them for 1000$ lol. We found him on facebook too after we met him to talk about buying the rims. He was some little 18 or 19 year old punk with an Integra.

So long story short we got my friends rim's back (forcefully at night) and also grabbed a set of M6 rims he had stolen from someone else or maybe were his but either way we weren't letting him keep them. Lol those M6 rims were HUGE you don't realize until you try and shove 4 of them in your trunk.

The worst part was the way they left his car on his driveway though... Sitting on an air filter. No bricks, no jacks, nothing. This was also mid-february and there was a good 8-10 cm of snow on the ground. So to actually get his car onto some jackstands we had to first shovel the driveway, then find something to grab onto and lift the car off the ground. Thank god it was a civic as it didn't weigh much, but still a big pain in the *** to get it off the ground and onto stands.

So good luck, get some friends together and get your rims back like we did! Death to all thieves

Homeowners insurance should definately cover it under Covergae C - Personal property. I used to be an insurance agent so I am pretty sure about it.
