New Wheels now car pulls to the right??

Okay guys I received my G35 18" wheels yesterday and man do they look great on the max anyway I take it out for a spin after installing them to see how they run.. They came with used Michilin Pilot Sports (40% tread all around) and I figured I would wear them out before I bought new ones..

BUT my problem is that it pulls to the right under any kind of acceleration now??? The car never did this before with the stock 17's it was perfect. I cant understand why all of a sudden it would pull like this. Any advice would be great!

Rotate the right side only, and that should fix the problem. Its called a radial pull.

lets see em on there

and idk what radial pull is,.. ill google it shortly... but have you checked tire pressure??

thanks google: When tires are built the steel belts are laid on the tire by hand. If they are off centre it creates a soft side too the tire. This soft side creates a lean in the tire creating a pull. It is very annoying but not a safety problem. Try moving ( rotating) the tire from the side that it pulls toward to the rear and see if the problem goes away. If it does not try rotating the other side because it is rare but a tire can also have a PUSH instead of a pull.Once you have isolated the tire you can leave it on the rear or replace it with a new one. Nothing can be done to repair the problem with the tire and since it is not a safety concern the manufactures do not consider it a faulty tire. Hope this helps!!

The problem is guys.. I bought these wheels from a guy off EBAY and they were on his G35.. and as you know they are staggered wheels meaning one set is wider then the other.. so I cant have them all mixed around. The rears are 245 and the fronts 225, they are directionals also.. I think Im just going to have 245's all around.. it is just so annoying when I lay on the gas just the slightest bit it tugs.

My first guess is torque steer as this happens on acceleration only. If it pulls on a flat highway without accel input then you may have a problem...

If it still pulls without accel input, I would also check out the thread wear if it is even on all 4 tires and not on angle \. Also your camber or toe could have been off before the new tires and the old ones wore out on angle and hence did not feel as a bad pull before you got these new ones. So check out your old tires for wear pattern...

I have a pull right too but when I took it in they said it was because my right front bearing was going bad.

Do you notice any tire whine?

The thing is this car did not do this til I put the different wheels on yesterday.. before I had the stock 17s with toyo tires, and now with the new wheels I believe it may be because of the tires that came with the wheels seeing is they were used, maybe one was warn differently then the other, the tires for the front on a g35 steer the car where on a max those same tires are now steering and pulling.. maybe that has something to do with it.. I just dont wanna have to buy new tires yet if i dont have to ya know.

anytime you put higher performance/wider tires, it will amplify any defects or problems your car had.

im not sure if this has been brought up, but could it just be tracking on different roads?

with my camaro, i went from 235s all around to 275s/315s and the tires just have more surface area on the road, and the tires will follow the imperfections in the road...

It's most likely from the tires, not the wheels... Different tires have different tread patterns and they will act a little differently. Roads are generally crowned to the right...
