Cold Weather car not starting.. help plz...

well it's -20 to -30 outside btw i live in montreal.
my car 2001 maxima. It just won't start. I have a brand new battery and alternator. it would crank over find
but just won't fire up. I try spraying quick start and it seems it want's to start but nothing which leads me to think it's gas related.....

btw when I turn the ignation on I hear the buzzing sound under the hood... i think it's the fuel being pump but not sure..
any help or tip ..??? would be appreciated

The "buzz" sound is probably the IACV. It should "buzz" for about a second and then should stop. If this buzz sound is coming from the throttle body, it's the IACV, but it should not buzz continuously. When you turn the ignition sw. from OFF to ON only, the sound of the fuel pump running will be coming from the fuel tank area and should last for a second or so and then shut off. When you crank the engine and the engine actually starts the fuel pump will (or should) start running again, but you probably won't hear it.

Get your starter checked. My 00 used to turn but just not enough to start. It was the starter.

I agree that it sounds like a sensor (Crank or Cam)

-20 to -30 Degrees outside!!! I say who cares if it starts. Stay inside and stay warm and watch TV until spring.

I know i get the buzz, for about 1 second, RIGHT AFTER i turn my car off, after driving it...

ITS LIKE A BUZZ, and CLICK all in one

granted, i didnt used to hear this when i first PURCHASED my car

Is there any maintenance work, I need to do to make it go away, or is IT NORMAL as far as when the car is cut off immediately
