Just wondering... What brand would you go with that's not to pricey? I was thinking about going with Napa's brand. I didn't really know..

Mine dont squeal either.

They are hard on rotors though.. Hawk also makes ceramics, at least they used to... Maybe worth checking out next time...

I've using Hawks HPS for 5+ years, they only squeal when you don't install them correctly! Spray the backs with Quiet Squeal and make sure all your clips are in excellent condition...

Ya, rly. As CMax and sooner have both pointed out, if you properly bed HPS pads in they will run for ages and provide plenty of bite. One of the best investments I have made on the max to date, although I will admit bedding them in kind of freaked me out!

Guess I'm too late then - but for the record... I put Raybestos A.Tech. rotors and pads on my 2K2 Turbo (planned on selling it within a month) and for the price, they blew me away. Way better than OEM and we drove the car for another 10K before actually trading it in, partly because of the improved braking and having fixed a $#!t load of other stuff. We have Brembo/Hawk's on the G35 and these are almost as good. If your looking for a cheaper alternative, that still outperforms OEM Nissan/Infiniti brakes, I'd give 'em a shot.

My buddy works for that dealership in Scottsdale, AZ and got them for under 100 bux for front and rear. Cause I live in Northern AZ.. So he hooked me up nicely.

Ceramics tend to squeal more when it's cold out. It happens on my Max and my wifes brand new Pathfinder.
