Last time I changed oil over to synthetic they gave me a nissan oil filter. It's time to change the oil again and I was wondering if I should cut to a mobil 1 filter or stick with another nissan OEM filter? (Using mobil 5W30 synthetic)

I use the K&N oil filter, model number 1010, and altough i dont have scientific backing, i can definately see a superb manufacturing in the K&N over the Mobil filter I use to use.Originally posted by woosh

Sometimes I dont know what to think on these filters, I mean some people say FRAMs are the best. Then other experts I talk to say they are the worst PAPER filters on the planet.
I too would like to know what oil filter is the best to use for a Synthetic oil change if I am going to say put about 10kmiles on that synthetic oil before i change it again? BillGXE99 where you at?

Took me awhile to find this but it's interesting. Bill(yes the evil) gets credit for the research. When in doubt use the factory Nissan one.
