Amber bulb behind amber cover?

Has anybody with the 2K2 tails upgraded the bulbs yet? I am heading out to buy a couple of new bulbs this afternoon and I am trying to decide if I want to put a hyper white bulb behind the amber plastic of the rear turn signal or if I want to do amber. Anybody think amber on amber will look odd? I'm going to put a red bulb in the brake light for a darker red, but I don't know what the darker amber will come to...plus I'm concered that a blue-coated hyper white bulb will look odd when the light is off...you know blending blue and amber?

I have red bulbs in for the brake lights. They do make the tails look a bit more red.

Haven't tried the amber signals yet (with amber bulbs), but tell us how it looks if you decide to get them.

Why dont you have that orange removed like the 2k1 and 2k Maxes and put in any color you like!

Very risky doing that, but it definitely would look nicer.

But a mistake with the corners wouldn't cost me $800.

Well, $200...we're talking about the tails here, not the HIDs.
