Power Window One Touch Up Problem

Hi,
I've got a problem with my power window one touch up operation. When using the one touch up function, the passenger window goes all the way up to the top and comes down a few inches. How do I get it to not come back down?

Thanks,
Sari

In my '03, I had that identical problem on the driver's side last fall. But it was intermittent, and only occurred when it was hot outside (over 85f). My dealership was skeptical about my association with the outside temp and the problem, until we had a really hot day and the problem was easily repeatable. They needed to see the problem happening in order to make the proper adjustment.

Anyway, their top mechanic knew how to make the adjustment without fully removing the door panel, and only charged me a half-hour labor... then they made sure to share that technique with the rest of the service staff. It's a pretty good crew.

Now the passenger side is acting up... well, not "now", since it's Winter.

Hope this helps.

I had the same issue with my front passenger window last year. I did the procedure in the link posted by VQPOWER and it definitely works like a champ. I was very happy to fix this myself and haven't had the problem since.

Is there a reset switch on both sides, or just the drivers side?
