Hey guys, does anyone have an 03 window switch lying around? I need a measurement of the rectangular SMT style leds which light up the switches. Most people replace them with normal leds, but now you can get the proper SMT's on ebay, but they come in 3 sizes. If someone could measure that with a vernier it would be appreciated. Too darn cold to tear apart my drivers side door today.

i actually have one laying around. i also want to change the leds on them. i'll take a look but i cant really measure them because i dont have the right device but if a close up pic helps then i could do that. btw could i get the link for the SMTs?

Master is 0603 SMD

All others are 3 or 5mm std LED

 

i looked at the measuerments of the 0603 smd and it seems like they are to small. My master switch leds are about 3mmx3mm the 0603 are only .8 x 1.6mm

 

ok, figured it out, definitely plcc-2 LED's grabbed a bunch off ebay
