Springs

I have a 01 SE with 9000 miles and I'm considering installing either Eibach or H&R springs. With 9000 miles should I also replace the stock struts/shocks or can I wait?

Thanks for the help.

If you can afford the $300-400 cost of the struts, thats the way to go. Tokico make direct replacements, KYB AGX's I don't think are out yet for 00-01's and Koni's require modifications. A wheel alignment is recommended after the springs settle.

If you are going Eibach I STRONGLY suggest something with more grunt than the tokicos. Get the KYBs through Cattman (modded 4th gens) or get the Konis.

You can't see my sig but I have Eibachs and Toks and I feel they shocks are way outmatched.

I'd really spring for the extra $$ to get the adjustable higher quality struts.

I seriously think you need to go H&Rs, the eibachs are visicious, I cant stand the stiffness of them. Seems like you will dent a rim real easy, especially if you live in the DC metro area.

I just got H&R springs about 3 weeks ago. I kept my stock shocks/struts. Had about 7000 miles on it when I got it done. Ride quality seems almost like stock
