Headlight Bulb?

I just bought a 5th gen and wanted to change my headlight and fog light bulbs. I don't want to get HID'S but something similar that has more of a blueish white light. Any suggestions?

Stock headlamp bulb: H4. Go with Philips Vision Plus if you want a brighter bulb. If you want a bluish tint for the look of HID without the cheap fake knockoff blue boy racer look go for Philips GT150 Power2Night. I had them on before I switched to HIDs. The glass of the bulb is actually clear but there is a blue cap on them.

Stock Foglight: H3. I'd suggest going the yellow/gold tinted route.

I would go with Nokya, PIAA, or Eurolite. Its been years since Ive used those brands now that i have a 5.5 Gen with Fact. Xenon's.

You can have brighter bulbs without doing it and you won't run the risk of burning out your harness over time.

Not sure. If anything were to happen to the harness, I could probably get 1 from a junkyard for cheap.

Luminics Pure Blue are the best. not the brightest in the world, but the best color. wanna see??? look below. the pics color is not off at all. i retook the pic until it was perfect. they really are that blue. DO NOT get a higher wattage bulb, theyre brighter, but youll fry the crap outta ur harnesses. the pure blues are 55/60W bulbs, which is the stock rating, so you should have no probs. ive been through plenty of "HID" halogens, and these are the ones that achieved the color and look i wanted

^H4^

huuuuuuuge difference. you do not have h3's in ur heads if ur drivin a 5th gen. you have h4s. the fogs are h3s. this has already been established i believe

i had nokyas in my old 4th gen, they looked nice, (not quite as blue as i wouldve liked, but nice) they fried my harnesses. make sure you replace your harnesses now before it happens... TRUST ME

Why wouldn't you rather go with HIDs? Price? You can find kits for as low as $50 nowadays...

Look on the group buys for HID kits. They're not expensive anymore. You can get a pretty reliable kit for around $100.

I'm surprised no one has recommended Sylvannia Silverstars? Maximum whiteness, with good reliability.

H4 are also known as 9003, in case you get confused when shopping for bulbs.

i got my fog light hids from http://www.ddmtuning.com/ and they were $54.xx shipped during christmas sale.. they're still around that price i think (haven't really checked out the site in a while).. only thing bad with them is the shipping time, most ppl didn't get it for a month or so.. some experienced bad customer service but some didn't.. heres a thread from another forum to help you with your decision.. http://www.nycnissans.com/showthread.php?t=216

ive had my hids from them for about 2 months and they're still working great

Check the group deal section. Lifespan should be just as long if not longer than the "blue-white" bulbs you seek.
