tickin noise??!

tickin noise??!

ever since i changed my oil, i've been hearin a tickin noise comin from somewhere near the manifold section. is there sumthing wrong with my engine??? it drives normal though.

Sounds like the valve lifters, make sure the oil level is correct, might be too much or too little oil.

or too thin/too thick

as it gets colder, you might hear a tick on start up that should go away within a few seconds if using regular 10w30 or 0W-30. if not, go have it looked at.

If you didnt change your own oil, go back to the place you had it done and make sure they added the proper amount and weight (for your climate).
