Smaller Nissan steering wheels ?

Just went over to the Nissan dealer to drive a 01 Frontier crew cab(nice but no power). The steering wheel is a smaller version of the one we have. I drove the truck and you could feel the differance , although I have no idea exactly how much smaller it was. I wonder if it would fit? It seems to me that it should be the same diameter/ splines etc.
