Custom 3" Exhaust

I was calling around NC to find out approximate cost and feasability for this set up. I want to install a turbo kit, but that's going to be a while from now. I want to know from the pro's, is any one out there using 3" SS hi flow cat and magnaflow? This is the set up that was quoted me for about $1200. Have you had any CEL issues? how was the power gain if any at all? Is this too much even for a turbo system? All your knowledge is appreciated.

TIA
