Anti-freeze on floor board, and hesitation when cold

Hello there, I am having 2 issues with my 01

1) antifreeze smell in air while heater is on and coolant on the floor of my car, assume it has something to do with the heater core, but not sure what, maybe a connection or a crack somewhere, anyone else have this problem and I assume the heater cores on the maximas are just as much a pain in the butt as any other vehicle? Any tips?

2) When the vehicle is cold and under moderate acceleration it really boggs, I get a sound like a plugged intake, and the vehicle accelerates slower than normal, this is not at WOT, more like 30% throttle. Under very mild acceleration it doesn't do it (so I just drive like grandma until it warms up). Most likely a MAF issue?

Thanks

1) heater core for sure
2) most likely the MAF, I was having cold start hesitation til I replaced my MAF.
