I searched to no avail..

I recently picked-up an '03 with the Bose 6 CD changer. I'd like to put a DIN mount head unit in there but all the install kits look really cheap and don't seem to match all that well. Has anyone found one that looks like it belongs in there?

What/where is the "GXE kit"?

Well I've heard that for instance if you have the pioneer AVIC D3 that the rectangular opening in the GXE kit is too large and you have to fab up a piece of plastic to fill in the gap. This may be the case with a lot more aftermarket double din decks.

 

Oh. That's straight, I just have an old school Alpine right now.
