Can I combine Tein H tech with Tokico Blues or KYB GR2?

I've searched for few hours..
Sorry if it's been asked many times...

My ride is 2002 SE with Tein H Tech springs.
I want to replace the stock shocks, they bottom out..

One friend told me to get Tokico Blues.
The other friend told me Tokico Blues + lowering spring = shocks blow

I want smooth ride, that's all. Which one do you recommend, GR-2 or Blues?

Thanks for the help!

That answer is yes, you can. It may not be the most preferable approach but it's better than stock which is what we would completely advise against.

I've got the same setup on the way...what are your thoughts so far in regards to handling/smoothness/noise/etc. over stock? Positives, negatives?
