Hit some deer, poor baby

I was driving on the N Broadway in the dark, comming to a corner. some deers jumped in front of me. I hit the brakes, but it was too late. Poor deers, got poop on my car.

damage: bumper, headlight, left front fender, driver side front and rear doors.

Could have been worse. You're okay and the car is still drivable.

Back in the 80's I hit on with my GTI an it ended up in my passenger seat.

One heck of a surprise I tell ya.

Damage wasn't as bad as your's though.

Only a hood, windshield and seat. It didn't even scatch the roof or the grill.

Scary stuff huh? I hit one a few years ago and nearly had a heart attack. The poor guy rolled up my hood, broke the windshield, missed the roof, and caved in the rear glass and trunk. Totaled my accord, but that led me into my Maxima :-)

Lol, I wish I could hit a deer. The front of my car needs to be repainted and I would much rather insurance pay for it.

one thing I knew was not trying to avoid the deer cuz you might end up in a ditch upside down.

I feel your pain man, glad you're ok. Looks like you got off pretty lucky, here's what happens when a buck tries to jump over your hood while doing 60mph

holy sh#t !!!!

I had an accident with a deer about a year ago and while the damage was substantial (I think about $2500 if I remember correctly) it did not look anywhere near as bad as that...wow

Wrecking is nothing to joke about. My friend died driving to his dads house and he was only going an est. 35 mph.

Bummer man but it looks fixable.

Mine was totalled from hitting a deer. Really it was an easy fixer but the parts cost kills you. $862 list price for the headlights, each... Plus Nissan in their infinite wisdom put a crash sensor right behind the grille so the bags blew.

Before:

After:

I fixed it for a lot less than the estimate after finding a good donor car for parts.

Funny thing. Last night I'm driving down local road when Bambi & Co. decided to hop over a guard rail and prance across my car. thankfully i slowed down in time cuz i saw one of their little heads peekin out of the bushes otherwise it wouldve been a mess...with my Maxima.
