who has dash kits?

i have a 2k1 max with tan/brown interior. who has installed the FLAT dash kit? i guess that the flat dash kit only lays on top on the pieces that it fits on. the molded actually covers the entire piece. am i correct in this assumption??? i want to put wood trim in mine. but if i get the flat dash kit it may look like S**T if it don't cover the entire piece, cuz the door and center console pieces are GRAY!!! why are they GREY in a tan interior i will never understand. it looks so crappy. the guy who made that decision must have been the same guy who decided to use one coat of clearcoat on the cheap paint

but seriously, if anyone has some input and maybe some pics of theirs it would be greatly apprieciated. thanks.

don't have a clue what a "flat" kit is... i've got a Joshua Tree kit in the rosewood. eleven months after installation, it still looks great! Only "trick" was using a hair dryer during installation.

I've got a black interior and went with the 3-D Molded Dash Kit in Brushed Aluminum/Stainless Steel. It's sweet. The wood kits should look equally sweet in your ride. If you're going with a kit get it from DiscountDash.com as mentioned above. It's completed molded to fit over each piece. Most people think that I've replaced the entire piece with the aluminum kit, not knowing that it's just an overlay kit. It does the four doors, center air vent, ashtray door, center section around ashtray/shifter, & two flat pieces for the front side air vents near the doors. Peace.

Bageco.com

Bageco.com has the BEST prices, and the best quality. My molded carbon dash on black interior looks awesome.

Warning, they get it from canada, so clearing customs may take up to three weeks but well worth it!!

Re: gaps

Still the same manufacturer. Still the same bad fitment. Still the same attitude problem. They even tried to get my friend's shop to supply them instead, this was after they blew him off last year, and this time, he told them to f@ck off.

Also, to anyone interested, I will be carrying molded carbon fiber/wood/synthetic aluminum kits very soon. this is in addition to the real aluminum kits I already carry.
