I am in desperate need of a front turn signal plug/harness for my 5th gen (2000 se). Mice got at mine and I need to get it inspected. I am wondering if anyone knows or can check if there 5th gen signal plug is the same socket as a 4th gen. I know alotta 4th gens are being parted out and there are more 4th gens at the bone yards also but I wont be able to get out to any until saturday. Thanks!

Get a pigtail and wire it in.

Call up a few wrecking yards. www.car-part.com will give you a list near you if you search for a generic part on your year maxima.

nm i just remembered that 4th gens have bumper turn signals so more than likely it wouldnt be the same connector. Anyone know of any other vehicle that might have that turn signal socket?

go google the FSMs for both generations and see for yourself.

hell even owners manual. check if they're the same bulb..

hell you don't even need to look at the owners manuals just check if your checking if the bulbs are the same go to an auto parts store and ask for a 1995-1999 maxima bulb.. and a 2000-2003 bulb and see if they're the same... same bulb same socket right? :P

^^ your wrong I need the harness which plugs into a socket which the bulb screws into. I just cant seem to find anyone who has the harness that they can sell me so I am trying to find out which other vehicles might have that harness that could be removed.
