so it's originally a Z UTEC modded to be plug/play for a VQ35 5.5 maxima? The black harnesses are Z and the gray are maxima?

Nice! I wonder if it would work for my early G? Which has maxima looking gray ecu connectors

no modifications required to the UTEC itself.

yes black=Z
grey= max.

Actually its not 100% confirmed yet but in theory it should work in 02-04 Altima 3.5. and 03 G35 Sedans

don't quote me on this yet tho.

This is just a harness that allows a UTEC to plug into the 02 03 maximas without modifying the utec or the factory ecu harness.

No, no utec is included. they are sold for around 799 bran new. you can get a used one at a good deal tho.

thanks everyone for your support!!!

Dude can you send me the diagram for a A33 I just ordered my AEM FIC and got it in.. problem is I cannot find the diagram for the 5.5 gen maxima ESM. I have the one that has all the numbers but not what the numbers represent. Seeing is you made your own harness I am SURE you have a diagram of some sort that states what each number is. If you could PM me it as a PDF or something that would be AWESOME! Let me know. Thanks!

Yeah this sounds like a great idea, I wish the harness was just a tad less money though . I am planning on getting a UTEC to tune my VQ35DE soon, so this sounds very promising! Whens the Group Buy starting ? I bet if you set one up that you will help us save money and raise a lot of money from the bulk orders!

are you dumb? 200-250 is a bargain, consider this, the 350z emanage PnP harness sales for ~$400

And people like me wouldn't pay 400$ I'd just wire it myself Lower price and bulk = more sales. I was giving him a suggestion that would that would jump start his business. Just like a get started special group buy.

Group Buy im not so sure, right now the only way a group buy would bring price down, would be about 30-50 prepaid orders, so i can order a large amount of parts/supplies.

it is a good price, and yes the 350z patch is like 395.

Same here ! lol 395 for a simple 350z patch harness is well.... but thats beside the point here.

Thanks for the suggestion! Its a good idea, the only way it would help is if people was to prepay and understand that it would be a while before they received a harness. And im not so sure i would feel comfortable having that long time wait.
