New bearing--still have wheel play

My 02 is at the dealer right now (100k miles) and they have put in a new bearing and hub on the front passenger side. I just called to check on it and they said it still has wheel play and they aren't quite sure why. Any guesses? Could they have damaged the bearing replacing it?

Sounds like they messed something up.

I had the hardest time with my wheel bearing going out on the passenger side. I took it to the shop about 4 times before they finally ordered one from the dealership. So far it's been working fine for a little over a week where as the others would last a total of about 4 days.

I haven't had my Max that long, but wheel play isn't usually bearings.

Tie Rods for sure. Sometimes really bad ball joints.
