both 5gens hard start this morn !?!?

wife and I both have 5gen as DD(hers is an 01, mines the 02). Anyway, both had a tough start this morning.
Only thing i can think of is the fact that we had not driven either one yesterday except to start and move each like 5 feet forward to allow another car in and then shut them off.
Then this morn hers was funny starting and mine did the EXACT same thing.
Almost like it wasnt even run long enough to burn all the fuel in the cylinder.
Is this common/anyone had this?

As of now both cars are running great so i'll let it be..just strange.

Maybe one caught a cold and passed it on to the other? lol

Are both cars still with the OEM battery? Sometimes my OEM battery gave me these weak sounding starts, I replaced it with a Red Top and never had issues since.

Hey NissanDrv98, I have an '01 and it's exhibited the same problem since new. If you start it up when cold, run it for less than a minuite, shut the engine off and let it sit, it gives you some grief when you crank it back up. It acts like it's missing on a cylinder for a couple of minuites, then runs normally. Don't know what causes it, but it's never been a real problem, and easy to avoid - just let the car run for a couple of minuites if you start it when cold before cutting it off. Other than that, the car starts up like a champ @ 160K.

Did they have a tough weekend hanging out together?? I had a long weekend and it was kind of hard getting started too.

Seriously though, what were the weather conditions?? Really moist conditions or really dusty or pollen filled air may affect them both the same way.

You can't believe how much pollen can affect a cars performance.

haha, thats what my wife said-too funny.

zoner-i think you're right. I kinda remember hers doing this about 2 years ago and the fact that i did the same thing to both cars it just made sense.

Dunno about the cars partying it up...but i sure as heck drank too much last nite -ill rock the sunglasses today (the boss is at work today)
