WATER FROM UNDER THE DASH

Okay so I know its raining out but I'm not supposed to be getting water from under the glove box. Background last time I had any kinda of liquid coming inside the car it was from when the heater core blew. I have since replaced it and haven't had nothing since. Two days ago i got the a/c recharged and today while driving I notice the glove box peeing when i turned on the a/c. I checked to make sure it wasn't coolant like b4 this is just clear water now. Can anyone help me with this problem

Definitely sounds like condensed water building up somewhere, try and trace the leak to see where its coming from, I think its dumping the water in your glovebox instead of the ground.

Well, on a 3rd gen, it's not really a hose, but a formed plastic "nipple" that protrudes out the back of the heater/ac box, through the firewall, venting out down the firewall..I'm pretty sure they probably used the same type design on the 5th gens as well..

I can snap you a few pics of my parts car's ac box and hole through the firewall so you can get an idea of where to look..

Yeah, it can be found at most major autoparts stores, about $5..

j/b weld will seal just about any leak if used according to the instructions..

Be reminded these pics are from a 3rd gen, but i'd say they are similar in most ways..
