Lights went out

I have only been in this forum almost a month and I have been looking for this question but did not see it.

I have a 2003 Max SE 6spd with about 77k miles.

I was driving on night and was coming to a stop and was slowing down then slid on the ice and all my lights went out but the head lights and brake lights. I looked at all the fuses in the dash and checked the relays under the hood and couldn't find anything blown. I switched some of the relays and nothing worked. Does any one have a guess what it could be or seen this problem? Thank you.

Check your fuses again, especially under the hood. That sounds really strange though considering you should basically never blow a fuse unless you mess with electrical components.

did you check the dimmer switch to see if it's turned all the way up?

Hmm. Sliding on ice tells me his ABS kicked on. Maybe it drew too much voltage and shorted something out?

Get your battery tested at Autozone.

I checked out ur thread and seems like everyone thinks its a fuse. I will go through them again and I might change a couple of them to make sure. Thank you for your help. I will post any findings.

My driver side parking light is out also!!! Most of the times is will come on after a few minutes, but now it looks like both parking lights are out. After about 5 minutes they come on even though the headlights have been on the whole time....they are CRAZY and they have a mind of their own!!!
