Changing out Power Steering Hose
Changing out Power Steering Hose
My max is leaking PS fluid from the high pressure hose. From what I have read it's going to be a pain to replace, but I'm going to try it anyway. What I need to know is if anyone knows the size of the banjo bolt that bolts the hose to the PS pump?
Thanks
Thanks
AA
. How was the install for you? Would you recommend someone doing it? I've installed all my mods myself and do all the maintenance, but was wondering if this is too big of a job. Thanks for your help
I just found out my hose is leaking also? It seems like a shop would like $400-500

Things I ran into: I had to use two socket extensions and a universal socket to remove brace. I also had some trouble getting the banjo bolt to sit well, it's easier if you bolt that in first. The banjo bolt size give by doublea in post #2 is right 24mm
I hope this helps.

I think I'm going to replace the P/S hose while the engine is out of the car, I put the original back since it look good, but this thread is making me think twice. I'm going to order one tomorrow, the local part supplier wanted 250$ cdn for a P/S hose, I though it was pretty steep but I'll see if I can find one for a decent price.
