Did I install my o2 simulator incorrectly?

Hello everyone, I installed my o2 simulator a couple months back and I've had the Check Engine Light on the whole time. I had the P0420 code and I figured I would fix it with the simulator. After installing the simulator, I have the P0139, P0138, P0158, and P0159 codes. Shouldn't the simulator have fixed these codes? Did I install the simulator incorrectly? I bought the dual o2 simulator off the org in a group deal and everyone says how it worked great for them. Please help me.

Sounds like you didn't. Why don't you give us some info about how you installed it - being very specific, including wire colors.

Okay thanks for your help man, I am at work so I cannot get real specific. I followed the directions but the write up is awkward because I have a 2001 cali-spec maxima. Anyways, I'm going to take it out and re-do it again tonight when I get home from work. Hopefully this time I won't make a mistake.

hopefully problem fixed

Just letting you guys know that I re-did the installation and found that the ground wire wasn't spliced correctly and was not touching at all. Now, everything is connected tightly and secure and wrapped up tight and nice in electrical tape. The little LED light is blinking very slowly so I assume its correctly installed now. I just reset my ECU and will drive the car for a while and report back and let anyone know who is wondering if that was my problem. Thanks for the help guys.

Good stuff - pesky grounds can always cause issues.
