ATTN:REGARDING THE 6th GRN BBK UPGRADE FOR US 5th gens

The SS lines do work with the 6th gen calipers, the calipers and brackets all line up and bolt up perfectly, if fact everything bolts up perfectly!!

It's a great mod! I just finished mine!

i'm thinking about going to the junk yard and pulling the brakes off a 6th gen to put on my car whenever i change the rotors and pads. from what i understand it doesn't work with the stock rims but if you get 10mm spacers it does.

In a different thread, it was said that oem 02-03 17" will clear and oem 00-01 17"s wont.iirc. As cheap of an upgrade is this is, its very tenting.

So it's a direct bolt on with no caliper bracket? I thought this was only the case for 5.5 gens...

EVERYTHING IS DIRECT BOLT ON, but you need 6th gen caliper/bracket/pads/rotors

you CAN use your 5th gen brrake line

Rotor is larger & Caliper is larger. Added weight is the only drawback.

The A33B rotor is, IIRC 11.8", and the A34 is 12.6".

if you wanna use SS lines, which SS lines do you use? Is it for 5th gen's brakes or 6th gen's one?

if i recall, the part numbers for those two gens are different, according to goodridge catalogue. http://www.goodridge.net/usa/documen...ustomerver.pdf

5th gen part # is 22133
5.5th gen part # is 22134
6th gen part # is 22134.

Use the lines for the chassis, not the calipers. if you have a 5th gen, then so on & so forth.

What Rotors are those? How much? I have been looking for the exact "oem" style with the center hub area black.

I don't know what he has, but FYI, Centric/Cryo-Stop blank rotors look like that. I have Cryo-Stop rears.
