Just wandering if anyone here has done mods on their new 2K2 models? If yes, what was done and do you feel a difference?

i put a new stereo system in which makes my ears feel a difference and the aftermarket leather seats really make me feel like my car has much better low end acceleration

i have an auto but will also be looking in to doing performance related mods in the near future

I put on the Autodynamic Front and Rear corners (moved these from my 2000 GLE to the 2002 SE). Upgraded the rear corners to Polarg M-21's (red) instead of the AutoZone cheapies. Recently put in a K&N drop-in filter.

I've only had the K&N in for a few days so I don't know if it helped with MPG or not. As far as the butt dyno goes no difference there either. But then again this car pulls hard off the line anyways.

I will not pull out my leather seats for aftermarket. I spent too much on that leather option, and also goes for the Bose Stereo. I am thinking about K&N filter, until the intakes and Y-pipes have been out for a while.

yeah i paid for both of those too then i had them violently ripped out for aftermarket stuff, it wasn't the most cost effective move on my part but i had the money at the time and i couldn't resist biracial cow

saving your money for (performance) mods is a smarter, more responsible route
