I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on maxspeed springs in '06 when I wanted to lower my maxima. I did quite a bit of research and I found that the springs received very good reviews. The drop is also quite reasonable at 1.5f/1.5r (I believe). At the end of the day I went with Tein S Techs b/c of the slightly greater drop

i got them on my car, check members ride for pics.
I personally think for $100 you cant go wrong. The drop is nice, the ride isn't rough if you ask me, unless you hit any madd pot holes( which is rough on any dropped, or even stock height car). And you don't have to worry about bottoming out every speed bump.
I'd say go for it, unless you wanna be slammed. than just get some tein s's or coil overs if you got the money lol

Dude, there is a HUGE thread on this exact topic. It's not that hard to find...as a matter of fact, I believe it's stickied.

Honestly, I've heard that MaxSpeed offer a very uncomfortable ride. For a bit more money, you'd be better off going with Progress. Or Ksport if you're going to be that frugal...

My opinion. Get what you think youd like. Maxspeed arent low at alll, a little rough. but i look at it like this. If youre spending 100 on maxspeeds only because thats a deal. Just spend 50-75 extra and get what you want. I will tell you this Progress springs are Lower+WAY BETTER ride quality and only 165 from cattman's website. Brother had them and they were low and was close to stock ride quality.

Their good springs, a lil rough nothing hardcore. The drop it fair, Low enough to look low and high enough not to worry about botomin out every speed bump. However I honestly wanna go a bit lower in the front. Spend the extra 50 on some teins, eibachs rough.

My Progress reveal no tire squeal even at 50-65 mph on a tight corkscrew turning ramp, it's about the combination of things: wheels, tires, dampners, swaybars, bushings, engine mounts, FSTB, springs, etc....Not just springs alone!

You looking more Ride quality then drop? I vote Progress cuz its almost as low as tein with hella good ride quality. but if you wanna budget slam your car. Tein s. but think about your Shocks and struts. Teins will wear them out faster too.

You will bottom out with progress. The ride itself is nice and the handling is good but watch out for potholes. The springs are soft and low so...

I was running maxspeeds/blues in the front and stock in the rear when I had my max, not only was it aesthetically pleasing (front & rear were nearly identical height wise) but the ride was outstanding. While everything is subjective, I live in nj, we have the worst roads in the counrty and I drove this car every day w/o having to ice my *****... Wounldn't say it road like stock, but very managable as an every day driver. here are some pics.

You mean, you can run thru potholes with the others and no thud or bang! My Progress handle bad roads well if "I have to" and I have no other choice! Other than that I don't know to many dropped springs the float thru potholed streets like a 4x4 truck! Do you? Again the strut choice well make the difference on how they work togther!

They are low and are not recommended to be run with stock struts. Nevertheless, i ran them with stock struts for a while and had no problems with them blowing.

I agree but the fact is that you will feel many more imperfections in the road than with stock so even if it isnt a pothole and its lets say new road construction where the road isnt level, you might be eating your teeth. I have illuminas. Then again i have a bad motor mount...

Eibach are stiffer and longer while progress are shorter and softer.
