I've been using my PIAA silicone ones for close to 5 years now and they work as well now as they did the day I got them. However, the bracket that holds the blade is rusting and looks horrible so I need to replace them. Wanted to know if anyone has used either of these two blades and what they thought.

I bought the deal they had going a while back for 44.95 or something. The rain x works and I will swear by it but the blades seem to be streaking on me. It's been about 7 or 8 months...I dont think they're the bosch blades though although I could be wrong.

that's not that great if they're streaking after 7 months. i might just get another set of the PIAA silicone ones then.

That big floppy design... it looks like the Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades that Tirerack sells. For $20 you get both driver and passenger side blades.

I've had them for almost 2 years; (including Winter.) Still work great.

I had a two different brands of the big floppy kind on mine at the same time. One for the long side and the other for the short. I don't precisely remember which brands they were, maybe Bosch and RainX. It was all the auto parts store had in stock that would fit at the time.

I do know they both started streaking after less than six months of living in California. I was extremely disappointed, obviously. They also would catch and drag leaves and seemingly any thin item that was resting on the windshield. I replaced both with the PIAA's and haven't looked back.

i use rainx windshield fluid. applies the special rainx crap to ur windshield automatically everytime u wash ur windshield. i drive on the freeway at 80mph while its raining and dont need to turn on my wipers! its awesome

when i do, i use the bosch icons. i got them on amazon for $15 each. cheaper than the $24 at autozone. they're cool looking and they work.

My previous bosch icons lasted me from very early 2006 to 2 months ago (aka over 3 years). Even when I got rid of them they weren't bad. Very few small streaks. Just replaced them with another set and it didn't even make much of a difference. After 3 years, that's pretty impressive.

I've had the Icons for about a year now and they still work perfectly, best wipers I've ever used. I love how in the winter when I run out of fluid they will clean the road grime off in a few swipes even when its dry.

I have the Rain X and i dont like them. idk if my window is messed up of the wiper but the driver side leave out an area when it comes down right in the center. not enough to block my vision but it is annoying. especially for what i paid. def going with something else next time. I have Michelin on my 4th gen shouldve stuck with those.

More than 2 years on the Valeo Ultimates here. Same design, but I bought them for $19.99/pr at TireRack. I'm still happy with them, probably will go with another set comparing the price.

I have always thought these types of blades were just a gimmic. But while at Bj's wholesale they had the RainX wipers cheaper than standard blades at pepboy's so I bought a pair. Driver's left a streak, returned it and have had no problems. Very impressed with them and will be installing them on my other cars when needed.
We don't get much snow here in Virginia, how do the perform in the northern winters.

I run the Napa knock offs that are basically the same and love them. Have a set on my Maxima, my 3000GT and the Explorer. I generally dont expect wipers to last more than 18months.

I know this is a dead thread but in case anyones still wondering about these blades heres my 2 cents.

Wifes Infiniti had the Bosch brand on them when I bought it for her a couple yrs back. I about crapped when I saw the price on them in the store. I would of never payed that much for blades. I always bought the rubber anco refills for a few bucks but cant hardly find them anymore.
But I must say, now that I've used them and they seem to be lasting quite well its all I would buy today. Not sure if they're Icons {best reviews}, Evo or Clear Adv but they are fantastic!

Icons are good. Not worth the price though, imo.

Some Napa's (like the one I work at) sell the Bosch Evolution's, which are essentially the same thing but they're only $12 a blade.

We don't have a spot up front in the planogram for them, but we continue to get them in and they sit in the back. Ask next time or order them online for $8 a blade. Way better than the Rain-X Latitudes (I hate the clipping mechanism). And on the cheap!

How long are these wipers supposed to last b4 streaking and making horrible wiping noise accross my windshield? Ive never had a blade that worked perfect for more than 2 weeks no lie.

Never expected any sort of wiper blades to last more than 6 months to a year. I'm currently using some Trico that came with with the Max, they look exactly like the Icons but they're $17 a piece. Cant really complain but will def consider the Bosch blades next time I need some.

I use the rain X latitude and I love them! I haven't had to replace them in 2 years, then again I dont drive my car in the winter so dont use them to scrap ice and crap off the window and my Maxima is garaged. Im guessing that plays a part too.

Rain-X latitude PAIR for less than $20 shipped on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281035082397...84.m1423.l2649

Are these the correct ones? 5th gen is 26" and 17"?
I know these are very expensive in autozone why such a big price difference.
