Noticed some clicking

So when my car is running in low RPMs, clutch engaged or not, i can hear what sounds like the clicking of a roller coaster chain. I don't really know how else to describe it. It's a 2000 SE 5spd. Only in low RPMs, haven't really noticed it in anything other than disengaged through around low 2nd gear. Any ideas?

Does it sound like its coming from the timing cover? Chain perhaps?

I've never gotten out to look too closely, but the timing chain was my first thought. I wouldn't know what to look for though.
