Aftermarket clutch/fidanza combo chatter

Hey guys, I'm thinking of putting a full faced kevlar disk for my next clutch, the fx200 clutchmaster to be exact. Now I had quite a bit of chatter with the exedy stage 1 organic. Is this setup going to be better or worse? Let me know your experiences. Are all clutches going to chatter with the lighter fidanza flywheel? I think I have read some stories on here where not all setups will have problems.

I had a Clutchmaster stage3 with the kevlar disk and Fidanza. There was no problem with chatter but the pedal was way too stiff. The Pressure plate was also way out of balance. I had to remove it and have it balanced. Talk about a pain in the a$$. I'd have any aftermarket pressure plate balanced before instaling it.

Why not just go with the 350Z HR clutch and Fidanza?

I don't want the light feel. I think I will use my exedy stage one plate with the stage 2 disk. The exedy stage 1 pp is already on the car, but I didn't like the chatter with the disk. I can get the stage 2 disk for about 180 shipped.

Do you already have the Fidanza installed? I had a lot of chatter using a sprung disk with the stock flywheel. I've run the Fidanza with a kevlar disk and an organic disk and neither one chattered. Both disks were sprung.

yup fidanza was installed same time as the clutch, starting to wonder if it was an installation problem

are there certain times when you get the chatter?

I have a fidanza flywheel and SPEC stage 3 clutch and when Im in too high of a gear for the speed, I get chatter

when I first had the setup chatter was in first gear starting off the line, some chatter on downshifting any gear.

I really have to feather it and rev high to prevent chatter in first gear

Well, I finally got pm's back about the clutchmasters fx200 and the price is actually 279 for just the disk which is a little high since there is a guy in the classifieds of another forum selling an fx300 full kit for 325 new in box.

But I can get a stage one competition clutch disk which is carbon kevlar for less than 200 but I haven't heard too much about these guys.
