I remember when my car used to get good gas milage...
my gauge reads 24.6 constantly, no matter the speed. Its gone to 24.7 once before, I think. Also, when I push trip to mph, it says somewhere in the 30s, constantly. How do I get my gauge to read more accurately? Didnt mean to hijack the thread
For it to read more accurately, you need to reprogram the ECU....and I mean actually reprogram the firmware in the ECU that grabs all the sensor inputs & aggregates it into the readings you get. But I'm sure Nissan made it as close to accurate as they could get it, given the circumstances.
But reset the trip and you might think it's more accurate 'cause then it's only in the short-term.
Definitely not right... how often do you change o/f? have you change the pcv valve? what mods have you done to your car?
some good info for saving gas.
