Load dependent rumble

While driving on the highway today I noticed a load dependent rumble that increases in volume when I give the car more gas. I just finished an axle swap on the passenger side and decided to check the transmission fluid to make sure there was enough. I opened the fill hole and a bit poured out (I opened it hot so I'll probably need to add more when the car cools, no?) so I know its not the transmission. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.

that last post was made in haste. I don't think it is the wheel bearing because the rumble is lessened by downshifting while maintaining speed and acceleration. I checked the oil and found very very little to be in the pan. I changed the oil 3000 miles ago and found barely anything........ No leaks either. Ugh.

My son had a similar issue with disappearing oil, he wasn't burning it as there was no blue smoke and he had no drip marks in the drive way and no oil splashed around inside the engine bay, took it to our mechanic and found that the engine was all gunked up inside his oil was still all sitting up in the head, when the mechanic removed it he said man this piece is heavier than it should be, well when its holding damn near 3 liters of oil instead of being return through the system I guess so. any way his vehicle is a Dodge Dakota truck. I am not sure if our Maxima's would or could suffer from this, just thought I would toss the idea out there as your oil has to be somewhere.

why triple post? Check your oil levels regularly from now on since you know that it loses oil. Try to find where the oil gets out from so it doesn't happen again. If it is a 5.5gen, then I think a quart of oil every 3000 is normal, not the whole pan.

I did not mean to triple post that, I wrote it on my phone so that might be why there are 3 of them.

I doubt the vibration has anything to do with the engine. The engine makes a rattle sound when spinning down but it sounds like a loose piece of metal, not a rumble. Also, it's coming from the passenger side and I just changed the passenger side axle. It only happens when on power but not when coasting when the torque on the axle is minimal. Maybe I made a mistake during the install, or maybe the axle is bad. I shall see tomorrow. And I'm also going to change the oil and get an analysis.

Its not the bearing. Now it vibrates most vigorously at 30 and 60 miles per hour but only under power.
