Don't get too hung up on model numbers. That said:

  • Standard (194) wedges in the courtesy lights (doors) and trunk.
  • 31mm festoon bulbs in the dome, but 35mm will fit too if you jam it in.
  • 31mm vanity bulbs in the visors.
  • Bayonet bulbs in the map lights
Polarity isn't an issue for the wedges, festoon or vanity bulbs... just turn them around if they don't light. However, bayonet bulbs can be a PITA, maybe requiring a cut-n-rewire if your replacement is backwards.

Just go to ebaymotors.com and search on things like "LED wedge"... you'll find lots of ebay stores that service this market. They're pretty much ALL in Hong Kong, very inexpensive, and it will take up to 2 weeks to get your stuff.

You're going to have to experiment. Be prepared to spend like 2 or 3 times more than you actually end up using. You know... this is too bright, not bright enough, not really the color you want, and on and on... Personally, I like white. Clean, clear and crisp. White.

Good luck.

p.s. Here's a chart, it's mostly complete: http://www.moodym.com/maxima/tech/maxbulbchart.html

I just put the following LED's (from V-LED.com) in my white marker light in both headlamps, license plate, and front door courtesy lights.
They are very bright... very white...

Did the same, but with Amber LED's, to better match the side-markers and turn-signals.

Also put the 5-bulb amber wedges in my license plate lights.

For the best and brightest leds, I'd go with 5050 SMD.

If you haven't wasted money on ebay guess work yet, and want Good quality, bright white lighting, contact Alex:

He also has everything you need already arranged into packages.

Yeah, but c'mon, Tuner... it's fun getting dusty little packages from Hong Kong, and waiting 3 weeks for delivery.

Oh I've done it so many times man.. I wish I could count the money I've spent on 'cheap' e-bay purchases, all such a waste of time and money. OP, just get the stuff from Alex, you will be very pleased with the results, Stand a cut above most, and enjoy some very crisp and bright lighting

My glove box light is out and all the "almost complete" lists that I've found does'nt include them. Anyone know what the bulb # is for the glove box?

My 2000 uses a 158 wedge base bulb. You can always take the old one out and look at the number on it.

As Dennis said, it's #158 but here's a great chart for all years.

Haha thanks Matt.

I believe the glove box is a T5 bulb, you can just search ebay for that. There are so many threads on LEDs now that its a little redundant but yes I do have them in complete sets so theres no guessing with packages from hong kong as was mentioned. I speak fluent english too!

I'm not looking for led. Every list that I've seen is blank for the 2k2 Max, or in my case I35.
I should just take it out and check.

That's just a bulb number, not an led number. It's #74 halogen or not.
