Porting and Polishing the IMs

Is there a write up on this type of thing? I was wondering how involved it is. The polishing isn't hard, I'm sure, but I would bet the porting is. Any more info here would be great as to the tools you would need or anything like that. This was the next thing I wanted to do to the Maxima but I don't know if it would be too much for me to do and maybe a professional would be better suited to do the job. Thanks!

It sounds like you have no experience in this area... its not like a bolt on mod... pay a professional. But first I would check ebay if you want to upgrade your manifold you can buy one. Or just do the nwp spacers and see how that works out, I think that would be alot easier/less expensive

Aaron92SE port-matched his IM I believe.

There's very little to gain from this on N/A cars, IMO. Do the NWP spacers for more midrange power and then if you're willing to find a way to raise the rev limiter, gut your entire intake manifold (aka: SSIM).

Or try the 350Z intake manifold.

EDIT: I just realized you have NWP spacers. As long as you're willing to raise the rev limit you can take advantage of SSIM.

You should get a hold of KRRZ350 regarding this kind of work. He is the man!!
