I think I'll keep my plain ol' '01 headlights (non-AE) and do something to try to match them to my SE tails. I've seen the AE lights are lightly tinted, but I'm thinking darker or somehow finding a carbon fiber weave instead of paint. The SE tails have a carbon fiber look to them. Anybody been able to reproduce the look of the SE tails? Would painting the lights affect light out put? How about applying carbon weave, hobby glue, carpet glue? Would either of these withstand the heat coming from the bulbs? Open to suggestions. Looking forward to 3 days off work and I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a headlight project of some kind. Need to do another mod to keep from losing interest.
